No more over-stabilized pool water!
I use this as a replacement for the usual chlorine tabs because our pool water always ends up over stabilized. It is a little more work than popping a couple of tablets in the auto-chlorinator but much easier than draining the pool or brushing algae from an over-stabilized pool. I revert to stabilized tablets during the winter/off months. Works great for us.

Nice reproduction, but...
Very nice looking bulb for any retro project or fixture. Be aware these 60 watt bulbs put out about as much light as nightlight. I knew they were going to be in the red end of the spectrum - I'd guess somewhere around 2700k. But I was surprised at how little light they actually produce. You wouldn't want to read by one of them. They sort of glow red hot. All-in-all, a great choice when you are looking for form over function.

Not really a direct replacement for the L2650's original thermostat
I like this combo of thermostat and gasket. It works well enough but only time will really tell how the quality is.
Both pieces fit perfectly. However I was looking for a direct replacement for the thermostat that came on my tractor. This was supposed to be it according to the listing. No temperature was given in the listing. Kubota L2650 tractors came with 180 degree T-stats (at least that's what the spec's say and that's what was on mine. This replacement turned out to be 160 degrees. My tractor now runs cold most of the time.
If you want a 160 degree thermostat, this seems to be a fine replacement and good value. If you need 180 degrees, this isn't it. Hopefully the listing will get an update so buyers can purchase the correct item fpr their needs.
