Nice pressing. Could be better
Not nearly as great sounding as “At Last” but a nice sounding pressing. It really should have been pressed on standard black vinyl. If they put as much focus on the sound as they did on the appearance, this would be a perfect record

Best Copy out there!
This is hands down, the best pressing available of DP Machine Head. Owned the original and I dare say, this pressing blows that out of the water! There’s another reissue from 2003 and I would strongly suggest you stay clear of that utter crap pressing! It was mastered from a digital source and sounds like garbage. This pressing, however, is mastered from the original analog tapes at Abbey Road and the sound is absolutely amazing. You just can’t get better. The quality of the packaging is very nice as well. I’m very happy with this album and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Nice packaging Horrible Sound
2 of 3 found this helpful I do not understand why one single person would ever recommend this album. It’s obvious that the record company just wanted to quickly and cheaply cash in on the vinyl resurgence. They spared no expense with the packaging but went Super Cheap on the actual pressing! This is, without a doubt the worst sounding record I have ever heard! Of course it’s always obvious when they press a cd onto a record, but it doesn’t even sound like they did that! It’s as if they found someone’s old recorded cassette and pressed it onto vinyl. Absolutely NO soundstage at all, no separation, no BASS, no mids, no left no right. Just one disgusting mess. This is the best Motley Crue has to offer its fans? Decade of Decadence was better but try to find That on vinyl for an affordable price. Just save yourself the pain in the ears and buy their original albums. TRUST ME!!
