Fast and Warm!
1 of 1 found this helpful These Dunlop 205s' are awesome picks! I started using Dunlop Jazz III's back in '00. Then in '04 they changed, gave the strings a glassy, bright sound. I searched high and low for the warm, round sound the old JIII's gave. I stumbled onto the 205's in and around '08. I felt at the time they were hard to hold. But the round, warm, strong sound was there. I started using my old 205 almost a year ago as I started learning how to shred. These 205's not only give a warm tone, perfect for jazz (as that's what they are made for), but shred so easily! And I learned how to hold on to em. Lol
Now if I use a JIII styled pick, it feels so weak and thin, despite they are very hard and have a great thickness.
If you are looking for a fast, accurate, warm toned pick, the 205's are the pick you have been needing!

A big pick with lots of character!
I took a chance on these as I have used Jazz styled picks for the last 10 years. These have a very Jazz tip. I saw Frank Gambale using these and I thought I’d try em.
I found alternate picking is great with these! The size I got used to pretty quickly. Sweep picking is nice too.
These are 1.00mm, so the term “heavy” is used lightly. My only problem is they aren’t “heavy” enough. Even my Jazz picks are 1.36mm. It makes a difference.
But still, this D’addario pick feels and responds nicely. And no annoying pick sounds with these.
These are great for acoustic and classical guitars too.

Comfort and style. Can't be beat.
Desert Boot wearer for 1.5 years. They are one of the most comfy boot. Apart from Clark Wallabees, which where my original favs.
These boots have a thin crepe sole, which makes it very flexible, and a soft step. With only two eyelets, these babies still feel very snug, although many wearers keep 'em loose. As they age, they just get better. Almost like the perfect slipper. If suede version, the tops become so soft and floppy. But not loose, they still feel snug on ya, just so much more comfort. The Beeswax version I will say are plenty stiff, no matter what. They always feel new. I prefer the suede, for sure.
If you are looking for a mid-boot, that is so comfortable to walk in for long periods of time (I'd wear these for retail work without a prob). A boot that will age nicely and become even better, and even have a classy look, these are the boot for you.
Clarks is an awesome brand for quality shoes. I will probably be wearing a Wallabee or a Desert Boot at my own funeral. They are that comfy. You will not be sorry buying a pair.
Oh, do buy a size up though. If you are a 9.5, get a 10 or a 10.5. Desert Boots are cut small sometimes.
All the best.
