Unit is plastic pipe with an adjustable spray pattern brass tip on a flexible tube that can be formed to spray the desired direction. The connection joints come unscrewed easily while working spraying water out of the joint before it comes apart making me put it back together so it is definitely not for a hard charger but if you watch it closely and keep your hands off the lower connection it lasts a bit longer before repair and does get the job done.
