A Golden Age
I bought this dvd for my other half who likes the comdey greats of yesteryear. I remember watching the Stanley Baxter specials on tv as a youngster and revisiting the series now just increases my enjoyment of them as the humour is both superficial and innocent (for the younger or simpler among us) and yet operates on another level for us dirty minded adults. Stanley is well known for his grand ideas and the amount of money the tv bosses let him pour into sets, costumes and extras. Money well spent as although todays comics might be "edgier" or more "street" (whatever that means), Stanleys work is innovative (even now) funny and spectacular. You will marvel at what was achieved for the time these were made and how un 'PC' some of the humour is, the Nationwide sketches in particular.
Would I recommend this? Yes, yes and yes. Laughter is most definitely the best medicine and if you can laugh at something as honest as this then the world can laugh with you- go on, buy it!

Big sound from a little package
1 of 1 found this helpful This bluetooth speaker looks the business from the outset - yeah a little bit like a clutch bag but very stylish and neat. Controls are positive and easy to work out without even needing instructions, connects easily and remembers the connection after powering down.
It's rechargable so no worrying about batteries - just plug it in to your usual usb charger and it's quick to charge up and last for ages.
Most importantly the sound is fantastic from such a small unit.
I'd recommend this speaker to anyone wanting to take their music on the move or just around the house.

Looks alright but a bit on the thin side
Looks great in the images but sadly is extremely thin (you can see through it) so doesn't do anything to keep the wind/cold out.
