Less improvement compared to Vincebus Eruptum and OutsideInside.

After Blue Cheer's guitarist, Leigh Stephens, left after their second album, Outside Inside, the band did not have the same great sound anymore, until years later with Duc MacDonald on guitar. But overall, New! Improved! is still a better place album than many rock albums out there during those years.
