Some elbow grease can work wonders!
The mic. was in good condition The two inch depth rod had a slight bend in it but I was able to straighten it perfectly. No problem. The various spots of tarnish and slight rust were removed with various techniques and it looks like new.I wrapped the metal parts in plastic material to insulate it from the moisture in the velvet case. I have no complaint with the purchase.
