Just what I wanted
Lenses are crystal clear. The glasses are lighter than I expected, a bonus. Love the folding action!

Apple 23 inch Cinema Display
LOVE: The size! This thing spoils you for anything smaller. LIKE: The overall design, as well as the crispness of the display. While it might be a few years old, I see hardly any difference with the screens in the 2008-2009 iMacs. DISLIKES: I'm not fond of the single 'foot' in the back. Then again, I broke the foot on a 17" Cinema Display, so maybe I'm gun-shy. They also seem to throw a bit more heat than a newer screen. But these are minor quibbles. I think I'll buy a back-up...

iSight - It's Apple at its best
I've never used a camera before. I bought this for aesthetic reasons, and the fact that it was made by Apple. I'm an Apple guy - I'd never use a common, low end "PC" - but I'm also cheap. I buy used Apple gear because frankly this stuff lasts about forever (evidence: a G4 Digital which I still use, 11 years later) and degrades gracefully, unlike anything made by Dell. Now, I paid more than the going rate for this camera, because of it's industrial design (matches my G5) and that design just looks correct. Yes, I could have gotten something newer, but given that I use a camera about as often as I eat Greek food, I don't need the latest thing. Even newer isn't necessarily better - this is a FireWire camera, which in my book is better than the common-crop USB cameras, and it's jewel-like (that industrial design thing again). The one I got had been used "once", and it looked it. Little things, too: when you turn the camera off with the bezel on the lens, the iris closes down - it's white, so you know it's off. There is a brilliant yet tiny green light on top of the camera (thank goodness it's not blue!) that tells you it's on. Again, a perfect touch. The connectors, stands, etc. are all high quality. What's not to like? It matches my setup. Now if I can just find a Kaidan iSight Accessory Kit...
