Compelling
George R. Stewart is a magnificent and compelling writer. An American gem! I have a bunch of his books, from Earth Abides, to The Committee of Vigilance, The Donner Party, Fire, etc. Pickett's Charge is as good as any of them. Fascinating and informative and fun reading.

Hanging in there!
Best value for clamp on headphone holders. I looked at many. These do just what I need them to do. They hold tight, I can hang two sets of cans on them and move them around as needed. If I were making them I would sell them with a soft rubber sleeve around the metal so they don't imprint on the padding of headphones, but I just took a microfiber cleaning cloth and rubber banded it around the arm of the hanger. Looks be darned, it preserves the padding of my cans.

Sound quality and integration, great value!
Love my new B-stock Studio 192 Mobile interface. It has a Burr-Brown (Texas Instruments) DAC and sounds great. It integrates very well with my Studio One DAW which is why I bought it. It has a great software control panel with built-in Fat Channel DSP effects during monitoring during tracking, and allows multiple mix scenes and switching between three sets of monitors. I sold my UA Apollo Twin Duo to get this and they both use Burr Brown and sound the same to me, BUT this costs half as much! Definitely recommended this 100%.
