It's a "rose "jointer which is synonymous with jointer , at least in my tool bag.
I seem to only use rose jointers, I get less loss of mortar with them for some reason. I'm the "mason tender" which means I'm the runner on the job. But my boss borrowed my jointer often ,so I bought him one too. If that's not a endorsement i dont know what is.

for refocusing , for encouragement, for a Zen experience ,grab a copy!
i wrote this detailed and long explained review on my ipad , but the ebay review site wouldnt let me rate the "overall rating" stars above . everytime i tried to submit the stars would disappear and a red warning would come up telling me to continue i needed to rate the overall stars. very annoying , and almost made me just not rate / review the book at all. but this book is one i believe anyone playing / learning guitar thats feeling stuck , or plateauing , or just having those doubts needs or should read . and not only read through , but to keep rereading and or use as a reference along their guitar journey.
i dont have the mental energy to go into all my reasonings again . ill just say this isnt a book of lessons in the traditional theoretical sense, its a plan on how to focus on your lesson plan ( if that makes sense?) .i havent completed it yet . im deliberately trying to go at a very slow rate , to help myself retain the "Zen" feeling and knowledge.
in comparison......there isnt another book on guitar that ive come across that is anything like "zen guitar". it compliments those books / lessons not competes with.

Worth it , more expensive but no issue at all
Though I’ve only done one strat I think it’s a quick learning curve ..the only thing I would possibly change is instead of 1/4” size I’d make a 1” or 1&1/4” size . The 1/4” is ok but it’s easy enough to make those sizes w scissors if needed .which is what I had to do with the 1&1/4” (approx) size I needed quite a bit of . Otherwise everything works great and I have no complaint . Sticks well and doesn’t rip to easily .
