Small point and shoot Fuji camera
Small and easily carried. Has 8.2 mega pixel image and can be used for up to 8x10 inch pictures. Can be used up to ISO 800 with good results. Only downside is that it can't be adjusted for some of the advanced settings but as a handy point and shoot it is hard to beat.

Fuji F550exr Good travel or general use camera
This is a used camera so the price was good. It has an automatic (EXR} setting if you do not want to adjust the camera. I use the P mode and set the ISO to auto 800 and can still get good pics in low light conditions. It has film simulation for images that look like Velvia or Astia slide film. When the flash is used, it can reach to 8 or 10 ft. The battery stays up for a reasonable number of shots but I don't normally take more than 30-50 shots at a time. The charger worked well. It has a 15x zoom starting at 27mm (35mm equivalent) so it will cover many occasions. I rarely use the video mode so no review for that.
