Battery heater vs block heater
1 of 1 found this helpful When it comes to starting a vehicle in cold weather, a battery heater should be your first choice. A block heater will keep your engine block warm. But it's the battery that needs the help in cold weather. As temperatures go down so does your battery's ability to crank the engine. The battery simply has less output at lower temps while your starter requires even more power to turn the engine over. A battery heater, and there a few different styles, will keep your battery at an optimum temperature for full power output. A battery heater is very simple to install, and virtually anyone can do it. A block heater is much more involved and will not help nearly as much.

Fits 2017 Titans also
The screw holes that come already drilled match perfectly with the OEM screws. You will need to add a few more screws around the edges for a secure fit. I suppose you could use an excellent brand double sided tape. I chose to use some truss headed stainless steel screws. I did price the OEM tailgate liner from Nissan, 400.00, ouch. This liner is probably of the same quality as OEM.
