Great, except for the BIOS
Been running this board for a few weeks. Seems to be working well. Fully populated (2 cpus, 24 cores, 256 GB RAM).
Two minor(?) complaints: BIOS seems to be unable to retain settings after a power cycle. I replaced the CMOS battery, and this is still an issue. (BIOS does retain settings after a reboot; just not after turning off power.)
It's possible this is a BIOS bug: the BIOS is NOT the OEM ASUS BIOS that comes with the OEM board, but something weird: a Chinese logo pops up, which wraps the usual AMI BIOS menus. Perhaps the "save settings" function got broken in the process?
BTW, if you want my old board, send a shipping label, I'll send it out. It's got a fried power transistor near the 24-pin power connector. I think it just overheated from heavy CPU+RAM use during a long compute run.
