I love this! I previously purchased the Breville full sized Tea Maker. But being the only tea drinker in my house, it didn’t work out well to make just a cup or two. When I saw they created a smaller size, I bought it immediately. And I don’t regret it. It’s perfect for smaller portions. And I think tea tastes better made in the Breville Tea Makers because it brews the tea at the right temp throughout the whole steeping process. I’ve read a complaint that says you can’t make tea when you fill the pot all the way up because the tea sits in the water before the right temp is reached. Well you aren’t supposed to do that. The directions clearly say the boil water limit is higher than the make tea limit. It’s clearly marked on the pot where the min and max tea lines are and the max boil water line. I’ve also read complaints about tea falling through the holes in the basket, but I did not have that experience with loose leaf tea. Overall I love it and wish they had made this one in the first place so I wouldn’t have bought the larger size.
