Certainly tough
Holds a lot - I have 5 batteries, 3 cordless drills, a cordless SDS and a cordless jigsaw and don't have to "arrange" them particularly well to fit them all in. The lid won't open if butted up to something - it needs to be a couple of inches away from anything at the back to open it. This was an inconvenience as space is at a premium in the van and to drag it away from the side when filled is a pain because it is so heavy. To overcome this, I fitted the disc-style of furniture glides to the bottom. The weight of the box now keeps in in place but it is much easier to slide forward to give the required clearance for opening the ild.

Stronger than the wood itself!
I have used West epoxy a few times before and, as usual, this did the job well. The last couple of times had been to repair good quality (but “of an age”) garden furniture and it is still going strong despite spending its life outside. The last repair was over 8 years ago,
Again, the garden furniture required a repair and I had no hesitation is using West epoxy again and have no doubts that, now repaired, will continue to do its job for years to come.
The repairs have all been stronger than the original and with care, the repairs are nigh-on invisible. A highly recommended product and an excellent supplier at very competitive cost.

Nice little sticker. I used it to cover the 12v "plug" that sits in the centre console - fitted a treat!
