Great Piece
I had to go to hardware store and get longer mounting attachment screws. 1 inch long screws instead of the ones that come with the piece. Take the mounting piece with you to the hardware store as the screws are metric and I think course thread so make sure they screw in to the mounting piece correctly and easily. I bought the short arm as I have a 22 inch bass drum. I place my ride cymbal about the same height as my large left wing tom (14 inch width by 10 inch height) top rim where I like it (both angled a bit). The plate provided for placement inside of bass drum attaching screws is a real nice touch and provides for solid mounting with only 2 mounting holes and screws. I used the rubber gasket taped to the bass drum as a template to center punch pilot holes into the bass drum. Use a real small drill bit for a pilot hole and then drill it out to larger appropriate diameter holes for the 2 mounting screws.
