Well worth a read
Engaging story although I’m not sure the people of Holy Island will appreciate one strand of the story !
You do need to “ go with the flow “ of the story ie suspend your critical faculties in particular with certain Police actions ( can’t say anymore without spoiling the plot ) .
The story whilst complete in itself lays the ground for 2 subsequent books .
Well worth a read and likely to whet your appetite to visit Holy Island .

An excellent DVD & CD
This is a great DVD to buy for those who are new to Blackmore's Night . It contains all the music you will enjoy plus it also has a CD so you can relive the moments in your car .
Both of the main players look like they are really enjoying themselves ( yes , even Mr Richard Blackmore ! ) and they have surrounded themselves with first class musicians .
All in all a DVD to enjoy both watching and listening to .

Prog rock - with the emphasis on rock
This is a good Rick Wakeman CD and one where he feels strongly about the music - as its dedicated by him to the seven astronauts aboard the doomed Columbia space shuttle .
The music is more rock than prog rock with Rick in superb command of a wide range of keyboards . Tony Fernandez and Lee Pomeroy give him excellent support on drums and bass respectively . The let down for me is the vocalist ( Damian Wilson ) - he is a talented singer but on this occasion he does not show enough variation in volume or tone .
The music is great the lyrics less so .
But this is by far the best of recent Rick Wakeman records .
