Head Lamp
3-mode+red, non-adjustable light operation. Seemingly made for indoor use (no rubber gasket to seal the battery compartment) but I've stashed one in the car and one for home use. Name-branded (same company that makes precision optics) but Chinese-made so it's simple, cost-effective and functions as designed. Two for $11 is a no-brainer, really.

I can't imagine using anything else.
Sleek aluminum housing with an integrated microphone. Lens cover acts as power switch. Firewire 400 plug-and-use (for my late '09 MBPro through a 32" display). Easy to mount with included mixed acrylic/plastic hardware. Mounting options near-infinite, as well.
The only personal drawback for me is its country of manufacture. Otherwise, folks will be missing out if they're not using Apple's iSight. Bar none it's the Holy Grail of web cams.

Excellent quality, well-designed
Stop aid mat that looks to be made of recycled rubber instead of ubiquitously disposable, low-grade plastics. One could probably use a mild adhesive for semi-permanent placement, but the mat does tend to cling on smooth concrete. Overall great product that should last awhile IF USED AS DESIGNED, safety paramount.
