Absolute Must Have for Prewar Collectors!
1 of 1 found this helpful Greenberg's Guide to Lionel Trains 1901-1942 by Christian F. Rohlfing (1988)is an absolute must for Prewar Collectors and Operators. This Reference(along with its companion book Volume II) is a knowledge base of information complete with color plates, descriptions and value estimates based on conditions, and can help you if you are just starting out in the field of Prewar Lionel Trains or if you are a veteran collector. These books can assist you in your purchases to fill in missing pieces, obtain hard to find specimens or variations or give you a visual reference if you are into restoration. If you are like me and do a lot of shopping on the Internet using eBay or other sources, you can quickly identify your needs with this reference. Please note the value prices contained therein are out of date and should not be used as a reference for bidding purposes. Updated Price Guides are available yearly.

Great Halloween Accessory!
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased the piece to go with my Department 56 Addams Family house for my Lionel Halloween display layout. I am using the Polar Lights Munster House as well. I know it is a little out of scale for Lionel (more for American Flyer) but hey, that's what it is and it will still look right! This is my first Johnny Lightning (I'm 63, we had Matchbox as kids)! The Munster's are awesome! Can't wait for Dragula next!

Essential
If you are serious about doing toy train restorations or you want to keep your fleet running and are not afraid to dive in, this book is an essential tool to accomplish that mission. Robert Hanon has done an outstanding job in bringing you concise details, diagrams and specifications for O-Gauge motor rewinding. A truly absolute necessity to add to your Lionel repair library.
