Great little speaker

I have a Denon 6 CD changer/receiver/mp3 player in my office at work. The speakers that came with it were ... OK, but nothing great. I had heard these Polks once at a store when looking for home theater speakers. For home I went with 4 large, matched speakers + a Definitive Technology center speaker, but I never forgot the output-per-size of these little Polks. Matched with the Denon and my ipod or Cds, it makes the occasional Saturday work, or late night assignments much less painful :). Great tone accross the spectrum. More than adequate bass for the office, but at home you'd need to add a subwoofer to round out the experience. Great price. Great sound.

Our Family Shoe is comfortable and gets complements all the time

I bought a pair of these a couple of years ago. I get complements and questions every time I wear them in public. My son has always had one rule; "Never buy me anything that matches what [Dad] wears." He finally told me that he would toss that rule out, for a pair of these cool Kd shoes. I bought this second pair for him for his birthday. He was surpized to find out that the best part is that they are even more comfortable than they are cool looking. As I did with mine, I sprayed on several 'coats' of Kiwi water repellant because it disappears, keeping the 'as sold' color of the leather uppers. I love mine and my son loves his - our 'Family Shoe!'
