My new workshop heater!
I couldn't find many real reviews so I thought I'd give this a plug. Bought 2 to heat my garage/workshop. Standard sized two-car garage (400 sqft.) Mounted one on the wall and one on a (halogen light) adjustable pole so I can move it around. First cold front just came through Texas. Got down to 25 degrees which is rare for central Texas. These kept the garage at a comfortable 68 degrees. Impressive really. My garage is not insulated in any way. At normal winter nights around 40 degrees or so I think these will do exactly what I wanted them to do. If it was a bit warmer outside I think one would do. OK the light these put out is really, really red. Best to angle them or install them away from direct view cause they are blindingly bright. Remotes are a definite bonus if you are installing these out of reach. Assembly was easy - 4 bolts mount the swing arm to the unit then screw it into the wall. They come with a set of expanding bolts for drywall mounting but I found a stud to mount them to. Would give it five stars if it had a hi/low temp adjustment and if it was not so bright. Still happy.
