Not worth a try
Gastropex treatment for snails.
Unfortunately it does not do what is written on the bottle. After three treatments as recommended the snails are stil alive and kicking. As far as effectiveness goes you could say very little, yes a few have died but the rest live on without problems. Treatment is now a week old so really no hope of any changes with this product.

Works well at this price range
I bought this to use on a ground tripod. The head has a ball head that rotates in all directions but is not dampened horizontaly. All positioned can be locked into position with one of the three substantial nuts that surround the circumference.Horizontal movement is very smoothe and this is very important to pan without causing vibration. This is strong enough to hold most cameras and size of lens, I use it with a
300 mm and it is held firmly.

GPS Mat
A good way to prevent the unwanted marks on the screen is this rubber mat. I was concerned that it would hold the suction required but it has proved fine in this respect. You have to make sure you have the space for it, so that you get the sat nav well to the back of the dash board towards the screen as far as you can. If you do not achieve this it will probably fall forward each time you stop. After a little experimenting I found the right spot and it does the job without looking ugly.
