Good quality relative to the price.

Hogue Grip Model 43000 for Springfield Armory EMP
3 of 3 found this helpful I purchased the Hogue grip model 43000 for my Springfield Armory EMP knowing I would need to make minor modifications to make it fit perfectly. I used a dremel rotary sanding bit to make clearances needed around the safety on both sides of the gun and around the magazine release plate on the right side of the gun. The entire process to replace the existing grip and modification to the Hogue grip was easy and fast (took me 20 minutes start to finish). I really like the look of my factory grips but the Hogue grip fits my hand perfectly and I have found that I shoot with slightly better accuracy using the Hogue grip. This grip provides better control of muzzle flip allowing for faster sight acquisition for 2nd shot. This is important to me because this is my every day carry weapon. I highly recommend this grip as a replacement for the stock grips on the Springfield Armory EMP.

Mossberg 500 Upgrade
Upgraded my 20 year old Mossberg 500 shotgun using theT3 Tactlite 6 position stock, Forend, and Heatshield package. The 6 position stock is good quality, fits well, easy to install, and improves the function of the shotgun for my needs. The forend is also good quality, however, I had to use a rotary sanding tool (dremmel) to sand down plastic burrs and remove the sharp edges on the internal area of this part. The forend was dragging a bit and hanging up causing short stroke (not good). Removed forend and began fine sanding the plastic guides and when completed the forend functioned smoothly and reliably. The Heatshield included in this package was a disappointment. Metal heatshield is flimsy and the method of crimping the tabs to secure it to the barrel is a poor choice. The sights are plastic and not very accurate if you shoot slugs. I ended up removing it and purchased the ATI Halo 2 Heatshield to replace the one supplied in this package.
