This Book is Shallow and Horrible!
2 of 5 found this helpful First, I'll admit, I am not a Christian, but I am a big horror fan, and when I read the book jacket, it sounded like quite an interesting read.
Unfortunately, it wasn't. The characters were predictable and shallow. I felt no empathy for any of them. The "horror" elements were so cliche I was rolling my eyes more than reading with them. From the backwoods macho cop to the "inbred" country hicks and the trenchcoat and iron mask-wearing villian, I spent more time laughing than feeling scared. And, the plot was so muddled, it was like the authors weren't sure where even THEY were heading for the "climax".
I took them for first time authors rather than the acclaimed ones they were reviewed to be. And, the endiing was cheap. I really felt robbed by it. Like "This is the only way we can get them out of this situation."
I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Perfection
DOR IAN's MITO cd is absolute perfection. I love every track!
