Evercade Premium Pack 3 Cartridge Collections Atari Interplay Data East New

A love letter to retro gamers!
The Evercade is one cool system, a true retro gamer’s paradise! This system plays licensed retro games from the 70s thru the 2000s as well as several modern indie games, depending on which cartridges you have. The screen is large, bright and clear. The sound gets moderately loud and stays clear even at top volume. System has a nice weight to it, not too heavy but also not too light like cheaper systems. The console is well-made and has very responsive controls, and it feels good in one’s hands. Built in Li-ion battery provides for several hours of entertainment on a single charge. The deluxe set comes with three cartridges chock-full of games by Atari, Interplay and Data East. (Clay Fighter still rocks!) Out the door you get 36 retro console and arcade games included in the starter set, pretty impressive considering the low price point. Many more multi carts are available too, most of which sell new for $20. There’s also an analogue headphone output and mini-HDMI port to connect to a modern TV, which is a very nice feature. The one downside is there is no multiplayer functionality. Blaze says there’s going to be a Model 2 eventually that will support multiplayer, but in the meantime it’s 1-player only. Highly recommended for retro game fans! Emulation is smooth and responsive, don’t notice any lag, frame rate drop or any other issue! Great system!
EVC - Evercade Piko Collection 2 Cartridge

Great collection!
I haven’t played Shut Up And Jam! since I was in my teens and this collection has both that game and it’s sequel. Charles Barkley’s likeness has been removed, but other than that it’s still the same two games. Halfway between Basketbrawl and NBA Jam, this is an action packed basketball game where there aren’t any rules to break. Also included is “Top Racer 2”, which is the well-known SNES hit game Top Gear 2 under a different name... maybe someone else owns the rights to the name Top Gear now, but by any other name it’s still the same game. Awesome Mode-7 style racing game with all the 16-bit bells and whistles! Between Shut Up And Jam! and Top Racer, this collection is worth owning just for those, but wait, there’s more... There’s also Football Madness, a pretty good PlayStation 1 soccer game (the control scheme corresponds to the PS controller) that brings polygonal 3D graphics to the Evercade. And there’s Racing Fever, a very simplistic but fun top-down racing game with smooth 32-bit graphics. Also included are Beastball, Summer and Winter Challenge, Full Throttle and a few more to make for a very good collection of sports and racing games. Definitely recommended for any Evercade owner!

Amazing little machine!
This thing rocks!!! Far as I can tell it’s 100% compatible with SNES games (including Super Game Boy and Super FX-equipped games... I tried them both) and its very near an authentic experience, even in handheld mode. The display is crisp, clear and bright. The stereo speakers and loud and clear, also very well-placed on the unit. 10-hour rechargeable Li-ion battery built in makes this a very useful game system on the go, or just loafing around the house. The huge added bonuses of this machine are two-player mode via OEM or third-party SNES gamepads, TV connectivity (composite) and being region-free so gamers can enjoy Super Famicom and any SNES game in the world on one console. At $100 it’s a must-have for any SNES fan! Very highly recommended!
