Adequate performance at a very reasonable price
I think this adapter would work well to hook up a single HDMI monitor. I already have an HDMI monitor plugged into the HDMI port on my Dell laptop (Windows 10, 12 GiB of memory), and a second monitor on a USB-to-Display Port adapter. This adapter is for a third monitor (2 HDMI + 1 DP), plugged into a separate USB 3.0 connector on the laptop. I get a scrambled picture on it, regardless of which USB 3.0 port I use, or what order I connect the monitors in.
This is probably more a Windows than with this adapter - but I'm still stuck until I can figure it out.
If your needs are less ambitious than mine, you'll probably be perfectly happy with this device.

Solid performer where it counts the most
The lock mechanism seems to be lighter weight, and even delicate, compared to what you'd be used to from traditional Kensington laptop locks. The wedges, on the other hand, mate more securely the laptop's security slot than those on the Noble lock, which I've also tried.Time will tell how well it stands up, but I'm a happy camper.
