I wouldn’t call this a fly tying kit.
1 of 2 found this helpful The vise is the best part of this kit. And it is of poor quality. The tools that it came with are mediocre at best. The materials that are supposed to come with the kit do not match the 3 flys that the kit instructs you to be able to tie. I broke a hook (#12)while winding thread over it with very little force. The feathers and herl I would imagine are years and years old as they brake with the slightest of touch. This kit will discourage anyone from getting into tying flies in my opinion. I would advise against this kit and spending a little more money and getting a quality kit.
