Page turner
Like all of his other Elvis Cole books, this one was a page turner too. If you’re an Elvis Cole/ Joe Pike fan, you wont be disappointed. If you haven’t read any before, this one will leave you wanting to read all the others. Start with the first one...The Monkeys Raincoat.

Genesis word-for-word
The author is a stout proponent of a strict interpretation of Genesis and the six 24 hour day creation, and the necessary young earth that comes with the strict interpretation. Unfortunately, I don’t think he did a very good job of providing scientific backup for his case, merely stating that if that was what the Bible says, then that is enough proof, and ignores all the present day science that points to an earth billions of years old. He ignores or tries to just push aside both geologic and biological discoveries by scientists that remove any doubt relative to to the validity of a young earth or a 6 day creation. By the way, I am a Christian and believe that God has provided his people with the knowledge that shows the the complete absurdity of a Creation Story that only took 6 days, but that was written for people that lived 5000 years ago with the worldview of an earth centered universe. He made a gallant effort but fell woefully short of a convincing argument.
