in my opinion best balance of price and quality
2 of 2 found this helpful for 40 dollars. this is the best stick u can get. the parts are good enough to learn and play with. the pc compatibility is a real plus that helps get even more use out of it. after about a month of play the buttons do seems a little less clicky and more squishy but by a very small amount. very easy to open but not very mod friendly by those who dont have much skill using tools and/or knowledge of electronics. i personally opened it and added weights to inside of the case to add more weight. much more comfortable that way. it feels good playing on the table. its not too small to hinder play. but is kind of uncomfortable to play on lap. its too light and too small for me to comfortably play on my lap.
again. if your not snobby or a stickler, for 40 dollars, the quality is great. in the past i have seen more expensive options for much less quality.
im very happy to be able to use an arcade stick for fighting games now while i save for a high quality product. which is going to take me along time.
pros. cheap price
decent parts which are more than doing the job.
switch for ps4, ps3, and pc compatability
great first choice of stick if looking for an entry product.
cons. quality is cheap when compared to more expensive top quality sticks. (ie. madcatz TE edition sticks)
not easily modded not by a long shot (but definitly possible with effort)
has a square 4way gate.(opinion) turns out i cant stand 4 way gates. ive gotten better with them but its still a bit frustrating. ive seen online its possible to insert an 8 way sanwa gate but the gate itself needs minor modding. u can search online google or youtube for instructions
over all im glad to have gotten this stick. i didnt spend much, it works just fine to play, and this will make a great 2nd player stick for me when i get a high quality stick in the future.
