Harbinger is thought provoking.
The book was thought provoking. It must be read knowing that each chapter has an appendix at the end to corroborate what was written.

If I did not know the author I would not be complelled by the title.
I liked the book. It had instructions and a pattern to work on. The instructions were easy to follow. The technique is shown but one has to bring their own imagination and attention to detail when creating a product. A leaf, for an example, could be made of several subtle blended shades of green.
This book is set up for one to take a photo for example and simplisticly draw it out then disect that image into parts. Those parts are further disected. From there material of different shades and pattens along with conserted effort create that image.
I hope I explained that the tecnique is simple the results that one wants will come from much thought, efforts and material. Not everyone is capable of the level of creativity but most are capable of the paper piecing.
