The First Time Instead of The First Time
I was looking for the Walter Mirisch production of "The First Time" when I came across this video. It is an excellent movie about a young man who ends up at college with a high female to male ratio to study film. It is fun and realistic.

Robin Williams and Company steal the show.
Robin Williams steals the show here as a actor. It makes one curious about the illness as well as Parkinson's disease and medicine in New York in general.

4 stars But Not True to Vonnegut
It is worth watching, but definitely read the book. I don't think it is exactly what Kurt Vonnegut Jr. intended. The desperate nature of their situation in Dresden is not emphasized enough, nor is the role of luck in life that clear here. It is more like Vonnegut and Kilgore Trout of Breakfast of Champions over layed on Slaughterhouse 5. But it is a visual marvel, regardless. Perhaps it was the producer's input.
