Did not work, could not be programmed.
Did not work, could not be programmed for my 2006 Beetle. The key part is fine, the door unlock part is fine, the immobilizer could not be paired with the vehicle. And yes, I took it to a shop that is well versed in programming VW keys and has the computer.

Worked perfectly.
1 of 1 found this helpful only took like 5 drops to re-ink my stamp pad so this should last pretty much forever.

Make sure you get authentic and its a fairly easy install
2 of 2 found this helpful Whoever you buy it from, make sure it's authentic AC Delco, the knockoffs are junk. The authentic ones come in an AC Delco bag and are made in Mexico, the knockoffs come loose or in a box and are made in China.
If you own a GM V8, this part will eventually need to be replaced, they all fail, usually between 100k and 200k miles. This is pretty easy to replace and no you don't need to take the intake manifold off as the manufacturer recommends, look on YouTube, there are plenty of videos. You will need a swivel socket and some delicate hands but it can be done. Make sure you replace the tiny screen filter under the sensor, that always gets clogged.
