Good value
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice quality tank and it works fine. Seems like a good value, and we are pleased. However, the first time my wife needed it in an emergency, the tank proved to be empty. I had just filled it two days prior and closed the valve, so I suspect that from bouncing in the trunk of the car that the purge valve accidentally released. It might be a good idea to tape the purge valve closed if you are going to be using this as an emergency supply and carrying it in a car or truck. There were no leaks after I refilled the tank, so I am only guessing that the purge valve must have self-released from a jolt. It's easily triggered, with slight pressure, so I hope that was it. I have left the purge valve as it was, just to see if it happens again, and I bought a cheap compressor to back up the tank, just in case it does "self-purge" again.
