Wife hates food touching.
My wife has an aversion to having food touching, especially if it is "runny". As a jnoke, I have bought her children's plates, but they are a bit small and poorly made.
This is a well made product with enough sections to keep everything separated. I was actually looking for a school cafeteria style heavy PLASTIC type, but they were in a min package of 10.
The negative is that it is metal and conducts heat.
I have bought several styles of plates Round and Rectangular. she actually like the round one because it "looks more normal!!

Perfect fit
As an aftermarket piece, it appears to be of high quality and fit. Though not as heavy as the original part. But it does its job, after all, it is a bumper that is to collapse on minor hits.
