Can’t beat the price for a Single-Stage Drop-in Trigger
4 of 5 found this helpful Bought 3 of these. One went into an {Brand with Horse Logo} stripped lower, the other into a {Palm Tree State Brand} stripped lower. I've built with these brand lowers before without any problems. However, using this trigger, I had to sand down the front edge of the drop-in trigger housing to get it to fit.
Without sanding, only one of the pin holes lines up, the other is slightly misaligned. I thought this was an issue with the lower, or just the one trigger at first, but when I tried switching lowers, same problem. All three triggers required some belt-sanding before becoming “drop-in”.
If you don’t have a belt sander, this could take a bit of time. After sanding for a custom fit, it was snug and the trigger action smooth and crisp. Actually turned out to be a good learning experience as I was showing my teenage son how to build the lower and trouble-shoot little issues such as this.
If not for the sanding issues, I’d rate it 5 starts. Otherwise, it's a great little trigger, especially considering the price (I got a discount for buying 3 at a time).
