Universal replacement does not always means plug and play.
1 of 2 found this helpful Once I installed it and connected the wires to the same terminals and adjusted the micro switches in accordance with the instructions provided, I was disappointed that the electronic ignition would not even attempt to light the pilot. After verifying that all other components worked I determined that the problem was in the new module. I then switched the wire from the one labeled “24V” to the one labeled “TH-W” and everything then worked and continues to work as it should. Disappointed that the instruction did not even mention this issue. My previous module did not even have a “TH-W” terminal.
