Technology is improving.
Delivery was guaranteed by Feb. 8 and it arrived on January 26. It was plugged in and started working almost immediately without any visible loading process. So far, it has connected without problems and the computer is showing the same number of bars as the larger wi-fi adapter I was using previously. It has the added advantage of being small so it eliminates the concern about breaking the adapter or the USB port during transportation.

Glad I fouind it.
This dryer element is somewhat hard to find due to the age of the appliance so to get one at a very reasonable price and have it appear to be of very good quality is very gratifying.
