An excellent peek at turn-of-the-century South Africa
Wilbur Smith developed his charactors well. The story was historically pretty accurate as I understand the history during that time. It was interesting how he developed his relationships between the nationals and the British colonists. A nice balance of suspense and intrigue. I highly commend this book to all readers.

The Shack
2 of 2 found this helpful This fictional account was very moving. It presented the Holy Trinity in a different paradygm that was entertaining. The last chapter must be read with kleenex nearby.
