Top quality from a top brand
These hooks are well-made, with little casting flash or pitting. The alloy is easy to weld, even for an amateur like me. I've used them to rip out a tree stump that lifted the tractor's rear wheels, so I think they're strong enough. I can't think of a way to put more force on them.

Works for everything
I've used this to mount gas tanks under 4WD trucks, to seal the door on a sandblasting cabinet, to make my home air filter fit more-tightly in the duct, as padding for an electric fan against a radiator, and even to pad laptop computers used by dealership auto repair technicians. It works great on all of them. But I have no experience using it for camper shells.

Impact-ready, for real
1 of 1 found this helpful I was very skeptical that these would stand up to ANY impact driver - even my little 12V Milwaukee 2553-22 (which is strong for its size). But my first use was putting two 1/4-20 holes in a 1/4-inch plate on each of my Rotary lift's yokes. Without any cutting oil, the hole went fast, and was tapped almost before I realized the drill had gone through. I haven't used the smaller ones or the metrics yet, but I assume they'll perform about the same. I wouldn't use the smaller ones on such thick material, or in a bigger impact, but this little driver (on its middle setting) seems to be a perfect fit for these drill-taps.
