Great for the price
Really nice mic for the price, if you do youtube or anything like it, it's really good.

Great hardware that still competes with top end systems
1 of 1 found this helpful You NEED to update the bios to 3.0+ to get other xeons to work in this. I updated the bios and slapped a Xeon x5670 2.29 ghz (3.33 ghz turbo 6 core 12 threads) and regular DDR3 ram does work in this, it does not have to be ECC ram. I added 20gb of ram with a rx480. It handles everything I throw at it and the stock cooler works great. This is a really great gaming rig setup. It also has built in RAID if you're looking for that. I could not ask for anything more for the price. You can always add USB 3.0/3.1 and SATA III with PCI expansion no problem. It also does boot on a SATA III card.
Below is my cost break down of what I got in this system:
HP z400 - $65
RX480 8GB - $240
Xeon x5670 - $60
SATA III PCI controller - $10
Ram - Already had $0.00
$375 gaming rig

They work great
I ordered 4 of these for a 4 way raid0 setup and they work perfect, no issues. I just wish they were black to match my case better. I could not pass up the asking price so the color was less important :P
