Unexpected heights and depths
1 of 1 found this helpful East of Eden will be with me for a long time. Rich with philosophy and humanity. Steinbeck’s characters are beloved, now close to my heart. They moved me to look inside myself and left a powerful message one should carry with them always.

Concise? Yes, for a law book.
Concise as law books go, but very hefty book. Good reference tool.

Love this, most of the time...
1 of 1 found this helpful Love it! Much better than Nook Color. Easy to hold. A joy to read on and high quality video from Netflix. Would be perfect were it not for one annoyance: Public library books must first be downloaded to computer, then from computer to Nook Tablet. Not so with Kindle. I bought cheap-o Kindle for public library books. Still, I will carry my Nook Tablet for all its bells and whistles. Come on, B&N. Give us a break! Some of us fast readers can't afford $8 to $13 to purchase books every other day!
