These are just o.k.
I completely disassembled the pedals to upgrade the bearings, the originals are not very good. Next, the beaters. They are ok but the slave side didn’t have a washer under the lock nut. Nit-picky, I know, but that was an easy one for the quality control team, but they missed that one. The springs are great, even though I switched mine out with iron Cobra springs to give it a little more flex. Cams are excellent, and comparable to a rolling glide cam. My only major complaint is I was not able to adjust the length of swing the beater is allowed to have: from the head, back towards plate. This is a big bummer. The swing is very short, and offers no power. No balance. I tried everything! It’s not really a great pedal at all, but considering the price, they will do for my son. In short: they are just O.K. And to answer the question burning in your head: the foot boards are short, meant for youngsters, but yes they are def playable for an adult. You’d be very smart NOT to buy these imo. Unless you need extra parts, which is what I’ll ultimately do once my son realized he can’t play theses very well.
