Korg Used PaAS Quick-Connect Monitor

Korg PAx users ... better read before you buy this!

This is a powerful, great sounding speaker bar, but the manufacturers made one (IMO) HUGE omission, when they designed it. The speaker is wired through a proprietary connection that only allows the MAIN outs of the PAx to be amplified. This baffles me, as the unit has auxiliary INPUTS that are summed with the main outs, thorough the 1/4" jacks, but do NOT feed the speaker bar. Scenario: if you use an iPad, or other audio device, and you plug it into the aux INs (to avoid using up mixer channels) ... the iPad will NOT be passed into the PAAS - only the keyboard and vocals will be monitored. This was a deal breaker for me, as I use an aux signal that I NEED to monitor along with the keys and vocals. I confirmed this with Korg US, and they have no intention of correcting this issue. Pity, it could have been a home run.

It's not just for drums!

This is a multi-faceted, full range, powered speaker that's easy to transport, easy to set up, and easy to love. Originally marketed to pair up with digital drum sets, I use mine as vocal monitors, keyboard monitors, guitar and bass amps ... it can handle just about anything. Two channels, and 2 band EQ sweeten the deal. If only it had a line output!
