Cyclists' Choice Vp-709 Clips Only For Vp-396T Pedals

Great toe clips, but do your research and make sure they fit your pedal before buying.
You have to know what you are buying, and do your research to make sure these fit the pedals that you intend to use them on. I did my research, and these clips fit my pedals perfectiy, and are of excellent quality for my pedaling application. I like durable plastic clips. I do not use metal clips because metal conducts the cold (to my toes), and metal bends never to return to original shape. Plastic clips get heavily scratched up, but are of excellnent quality and should last a long time. I am very happy with these.

Flat top shim for flat top seat tubes. OK product.
Thin metal but just what I needed. A reasonably well made product, but grease it well before install. Dissimilar metals between the shim, seatpost and frame will mean regular (grease) maintenance, to avoid the rust due to anode/cathode effect. Also, watch the top profile of your seat tube (on your frame), This shim assumes a flat top to the seat tube. Mine is not flat (slightly rounded top), and the shim sticks out by about 5 cm on the sides. Looks funky, but still works OK. Also, You may need a bolted seat post bolt for most effective cinching. My quick release bolt works OK, but probably will need re-tightening frequently, due to the shim. We'll see. Overall a good product that met my needs.
