fast but not sturdy
1. It's fast but not fast enough to use it as an alternative source of operating system for mac. I tried to install OS Sierra and run it from this and it was proven slow.
2. I would prefer it metal instead of plastic. My previous 128 Gb one, lost its upper plastic after a year of use.

Excellent product. Good value for money.
It was time for a new laptop. Didn't like Windows 7 or 8 so I had to depart from my old workhorse TOSHIBA portegee. I didn't like LINUX UBUNTU 11 or 12 too & I could not find Ubuntu 10 that I like. So it was high time to return to my old love Mac. I had seen MacBook Air and I was stunned by the crisp graphics So I made the step to bye one.
The computer is excellent and up o my expectations. Very sturdy design, EXCELLENT graphics & EXCELLENT keyboard with the right feeling and the right touch. A big thing for writers like me. And more: the computer is absolutely silent (Hurraa i5, long go intel CORE 2...)
A dissapointment was that I could not increase SYSTEM fonts up to my taste & my vision acuity. This is a nuisance and a burden because the resolution is SO BIG..! Somebody should have thought that when resolution increases, system fonts decrease accordingly and to provide for a correction..!. In APPLE they told me that I had to go to Mac Book Pro with retina display to have this option. It's a shame for any Mac to miss what all windows had more than a decade ago..!
The second missing feature is an SD card slot. SD cards have become big and fast and dependable in the last few years. If you think that you can hugely increase your storage capacity with a few more bucks, it's a real miss. One may choose the bulkier 13" for that.
Overall the computer is a real beauty and a diamond of performance out of the box. I would greatly appreciate an option to increase system fonts in a future OS.

Cannot see the contents of the card from the phone.
It works well with the computer but not with the iPhone. I cannot see the contents of the card from the phone. There is no accompanying software and no instructions on how to do it.
