Not for use in a Black and Decker 12v string trimmer.

Did not work well in a Black and Decker string trimmer. The size fits just right and the connectors are correct but the battery lasts 5 minutes max. This battery is 3.3 ampere hours rated and the original was 3.5 ampere hours rated. I thought I was buying a reasonably direct replacement. The original battery gave us about 30 minutes of operation. Just enough for the wife to get tired from trimming and put the trimmer on charge for use the next day.

Need to oil hinges to work well

Need a spot of oil on all hinges to make these all plastic sunglasses operate smoothly. Other than that they work well and I did get relief from the bright sun.

Works Great so Far

I have been operating the tumbler for about a week just about constantly with the following care: 1. Oil the friction points on the rollers 2. Removed the 2 square metal plates that act as heat sink plates so the motor can breathe better. 3. Keep the total weight of the barrels between 2 1/2 to 3 pounds. 4. Keep the tumbler on on a level surface. So far, no problems. Everything going well and the noise is really not bad. I should say it is in a closed room and outside the room it can be heard if you strain at it. I would buy it again.
