Total Rubbish!

Taylor Instrument was a proud manufacturer of quality instruments.Not any more. This thermometer is a total waste of money. The toys in Cracker Jack boxes are better quality.

Pay attention to where it is manufactured.

Nice finish and smooth , positive automatic closing. Made in USA. Spend a few extra dollars and buy a quality unit Made In the USA. I first bought an Asian unit which would not close automatically all the time and would the flow adjustment was poor. I should have known better and bought a quality unit to start with. Keep in mind, the one I purchased was old Made in USA stock . They are now manufactured in Taiwan. Way better than china though.
