Big Boar
February 2019: Nice big boar brush. Great backbone, with good, but not too much, scritch. Not even broken in yet, but acting great. Stays warm (I use my sink like a giant scuttle, so it helps). Also, really pretty handle, just right in heft. Great price. Not even any initial funky boar bristle smell at all. No downside to this brush. Well, it is high polished aluminum, so may scratch easily, but so far so good, and that won't change the great functionality any.
Update as of 2/2/20: Okay, after what seemed like a great start, over the last year I noticed that I'd almost always have a few bristles on my face and head ( I shave my head as well as my face) after I'd lather up. So before I used the brush next, and after I had let it dry completely (I have five brushes in rotation) I purposely tried to see if bristles would come out easily by pulling on the tips. Guess what? I quit trying after I had successfully pulled out over a hundred, because it didn't appear that it would ever stop! The knot itself would not come out, but the bristles would come out individually, very easily. This is not the case with any of my badger brushes (the other four) even a Zenith Manchurian Badger. They are all solid, and there is pretty much zero bristle loss. I never abused the brush, and treat them all the same. Maybe I simply got a bad one, but it's in the trash. At least it was not an expensive brush. Or maybe it's because it wasn't an expensive brush. Hmmm....

Itty Bitty
Works as designed, only thing to be aware of is that it's powered with "C" batteries, and connected to the book-mounted light with a thin cable. I didn't know that until I got it, but it's not a problem, and it ought to have a nice long battery life.

Excellent paddles. Rare these days with FBL rotors, but very good to go.
