Novel sharpener that works
I was intrigued by this stone when I stumbled upon it, but liked the concept of being able to use it the same way as ceramic rods, as well as a traditional stone. It works well, especially on recurve blade profiles. The flat surfaces are good for light re-profiling, and the "duck foot" design is convenient for ensuring a consistent angle for the final edge. No issue with getting good steel razor sharp with this stone, and no oil/water needed. The leather pouch can also be used as a strop. Glad I bought this.
