Pumptrol: The Gold Standard
Square D's Pumptrol probably controls more domestic well pumps than all other brands combined. Simple to install and wire, I have seen them last for decades. A careful buyer can get one for under $20, making it one of the best values possible.

Rugged and Capable Ramp Guard
These 2-channel ramps are very heavily constructed, easy to use, and seem likely to last for years. In a matter of days they conformed to an uneven driveway and are now very stable. Perfect to protect the power cord and water hose typical of RV connections. I can't think of a better solution for the price.
